Gas Distribution Projects

These projects involve distributing natural gas to industrial customers, households, institutions and vehicles in Dar es Salaam, Pwani, Lindi, Mtwara and Dodoma using pipeline and virtual pipelines such as Mini-LNG and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in areas far from the existing piped gas network. The significance of these projects is to increase the consumption of natural gas and support industrialization in the country by ensuring a reliable supply of energy sources for users, including power generation. We have built a distribution network of 107Km which has a capacity to supply gas to 10,000 customers in DSM, Pwani and Mtwara. Currently we have distributed natural gas to about 1000 households in Dar es Salaam, Pwani, Lindi and Mtwara.
